About Me

Who the heck am I, anyways?

I’m Julia Rose Bluhm, I’m eighteen years old, and I grew up in the wonderful state of Maine. Currently, I’m a college freshman in Indianapolis. I’m studying communications and ballet (I’ve been doing ballet for twelve years!), and trying my hardest to keep up with blogging!

I've always loved reading lifestyle blogs, and about six months ago I started this blog as a part of my senior project in high school. To me, writing this blog is a way to hold myself accountable to keep writing and creating things. I love writing, and I hope to always include my best writing on this blog!

Despite my love for fashion/beauty/lifestyle blogs, I am not much of a beauty expert. I tried doing some fashion posts on this blog, but I ended up deciding it wasn't for me. What I really love, is writing (kinda deep) reflections about my life, and about things I've learned. I like deep conversations and thoughts. I like imagining the future. I like trying to figure out who I am, and who I want to be.

This is a lifestyle blog for young women who (in addition to beauty or fashion or pretty instagram photos) also love deep stuff. It's a blog for the profound, self aware (kinda weird) girl who's just trying to figure it out.
For more info about my blog/ the stuff I write about, check out the "about the blog" tab!

A few more things about me:

I'm a ballet dancer. I actually hope to (someday) be a professional dancer, and I'm majoring in dance at college right now.
I love fashion, and I have a very particular sense of style. Think grandma-meets- Zooey Deschanel.
Before starting this blog, I actually blogged at an organization called SPARK Movement about girls and womens’ issues.
I’m definitely an introvert. INFJ specifically, if that means anything to you.

Follow me on Instagram, Pinterest, and Bloglovin! If you're a friend or fellow blogger, I'll try to follow you back! :)
